For over a decade, The Well Discipleship Center, formerly known as Outcry in the Barrio Dallas, has operated as a holistic model of drug and alcohol recovery that has reached well over 10,000 individuals.
We are concerned with the body, mind, and spirit of those who come to our addiction recovery centers. Our vision is to see all people freed from addiction through the power of Jesus Christ!

How we approach recovery
We believe a restored relationship with God can transform those suffering from addiction into free, sober followers of Jesus Christ. Our curriculum and community are based on the Bible, offering practical, faith-based courses that guide the transition from substance abuse to a life of freedom. We provide a chance for a new start, purpose, and hope through Bible study, mentoring, work ethic training, and Christian community involvement.

Addiction affects all aspects of life, so our programs address the whole person. Since addiction often attempts to fill a void only God can, a strong relationship with the Lord is foundational. We build this through teaching God's Word and encouraging bonds among growing disciples.
What A Difference Jesus Makes
The primary difference between us and traditional centers is our focus on Christ. Our program relies on the power of the Holy Spirit and God's Word as a guide, encouraging residents to deepen their faith, which significantly aids recovery. We provide a faith-based environment for healing, instilling Biblical teachings into daily routines and empowering residents through God. Studies show that faith in God is the main reason our graduates maintain sobriety.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Discipleship Center provides no-cost recovery for those committed to the program. The training, housing, meals, and support we offer are made possible through the generosity of our faith community and partners.
Pastor Matthew
Led by Pastor Matthew Wilson, the Discipleship Center is guided by compassionate leadership with a heart for restoration and spiritual growth. He is committed to walking alongside individuals with wisdom, prayer, and encouragement, helping each person take meaningful steps toward healing and a renewed life in Christ.
